"Overall the hotel was good. We were lucky to be placed in a room that had a view of Edinburgh castle since the back of the hotel was under construction. In terms of cleanliness, it was fairly clean besides a small cockroach we found when eating food in our room. We had complimentary drinks which we decided to get on the day of check out and they said the bar was not open yet and the coffee machine was not working. We weren't given any alternatives. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay."

"The staff at this hotel are inexperienced. When we arrived the person checked us in, passed over the keys and then took them back stating the room may still need cleaning. Food available was more like a fast food chain. Waited 45 minutes for a sandwich although the place was not overly busy. Several drink requests were made being advised that they were out of stock of items. Would not recommend staying here. The most disappointing aspect is that they are part of the Marriott chan. In comparison to the night before when we stayed at the Marriott Inverness which was excellent."

"Its a conveniently located gotel across from Haymarket station. The stff were kind and helpful. Th rooms are small butvery clean and the beds are comfortable. I rhink it wad a bit overpriced but ot wad Easter weekend and near o city cemter so it's to be somwhat expected. My wife and I would stay here again."

"The gym manager sorted us out when the reception failed to respond to request for tea and milk. Printed our boarding passes for us, which was helpful. Good location for airport as multiple buses and also the tram run to airport and also to central Edinburgh and the zoo - bus stop just outside, tram and train within easy walking distance. Good selection of items for breakfast."
