"First I will start out with the positive. The pool area was nice. Also, the 2 African American staff were excellent. Very courteous & helpful. The rooms themselves were terrible. I was very disappointed as this was my wedding anniversary. I thought with Hilton name attached it would be nice. It is basically a motel. Upon first entering our room, it smelled like feet. The shower had mold, so we had our room switched. The second room still had a bad odor. The shower was better. The are no dresser drawers to put you clothes. No microwave. Only a small fridge. The continental breakfast is the worst I’ve ever seen. The only protein source was hard boiled eggs. Then on our last day, they were out off eggs😳 I will not stay at this property again, nor do I recommend it!"

"Beautiful beach area. Rooms are simple but the new pool and proximity to beach was just what we were looking for. We will definitely return next year. "

"The rooms are on the smaller side but who stays in their room for any length of time other than sleeping really. They were updated beautifully and kept clean. The only thing I would suggest is a little bit bigger parking spaces"

"Lido Beach resort was exactly what we were looking for. I don’t love the sand but we wanted to stay on the beach at a resort with a pool and bar/restaurant. I would give the staff a 10 star rating if I could. They were all incredible from front desk to housekeeping to pool/bar and restaurant. Food also more than 5 stars. Tiki bar, Drift restaurant great food. I’m very picky about restaurants and eating out. I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed the quality of the food. We dined at Drift three nights during our stay. The room was clean and everything we needed. There is no wow factor to the room. Our view was of the atrium area which is nice. "

"One of my worst experiences in years. TV was all static, had to call for help, wait for someone to arrive to tell me to dial 251 on remote get to a very non-functional guide. Charged $4 for a coke from the bar gun because it was 'free refills'...I just wanted one coke. "Guest" Laundry was full of resort towels for a couple hours... Didn't restock our Keurig, and then charged us $9 for coffee - same dumb reason and again...we just wanted one cup of coffee. The resort has free ice tee - but not free basic coffee in the morning. Trying to deal with climate control with a 20 button remote that made no sense and was just icons that you couldn't really see sucked and temp in the room was very up and down. Black-out curtains don't actually cover the whole window and lights left on right outside, lot of light coming in from hallway through 2" gap in door. Then, after we finally decided to roll with all the above - on our second to last morning, we checked Breakfast time, open till 11 it said. We show up at 10:37 and were refused service, they said "there isn't enough people staying here to keep it open so we closed 7 minutes ago"..... I asked where that was posted or how did they try and let us know as we had been in the room all morning and could have had breakfast earlier...front desk just looked at me blankly and said 'Oh'. Seriously, that was the only response. Not what can we do for you, the kitchen was still open for lunch they couldn't make some eggs??? Just bad"

"Surprisingly good considering surrounding properties. Wonderful pool, everything very clean. Housekeeping staff was great. Bath had new farmhouse style sink and tub/surround were recently refurbished. Would stay here again. The restaurant on site (not affiliated with the hotel) is very good for breakfast and lunch). Publix is a 5 minute walk (or less). "
