“Disappointing Stay – Great Staff, Poor Hotel Standards Unfortunately, my overall experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The only genuinely positive aspect of my stay was the staff, who were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout. However, the hotel itself fell well below my expectations. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep. The bathtub drainage system was also very poor, with water draining frustratingly……

“We found the hotel to be luxurious and very clean. However the big downfall for us was the very busy, noisy traffic on the road at the front of the hotel. Unfortunately our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the window closed you could hear the traffic noise day and throughout the night. It made it very difficult to relax and we had constant disrupted sleep at night. In hindsight we should have requested to change rooms to the back of the hotel but we had unpacked and settled……

“1. Acoustic insulation is not good, could hear everything in the next room and in the corridor, got waken up early. 2. Bed is comfortable and the terrace nice. Some fixtures are old and need replacement, for example the shower head holder, the whole vertical rod came out when trying to adjust. Not sufficient counter surface for putting items in. The counter surface at the sink does not drain back to the sink and splashed water accumulate. 3. Dove shampoo and shower gel were provided. Better and……

“During my recent visit to the hotel, I was impressed by several positive aspects that contributed to an overall enjoyable experience. One of the standout features was the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the time of my departure, the hotel's employees consistently displayed a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. The cleanliness of the premises was another notable advantage. My room was meticulously maintained, and the common areas……

“Great location overlooking the.promenade.....generous room dimensions with a pleasant sea view from the 4th floor......property preparing for a refurb so limited bar and food service.”

“The stuff was very helpful.”

“I believe the ratings are totally manipulated. The rating should be 7.5, no more than that. Entrance and reception looks like a backpacker hostel. There are NO ELEVATORS. THERE IS A NARROW STAIR. Guest has no control over aircon temperature. The hotel has set it at 26 or 27. There is a thermostat in the room but it does not work. There are bagsfull of stuff and cleaning supplies outside the room 24 hours a day. This may be good hotel for price range of $50 per night. I should know as I have……

“Best hotel at the Anatolian side of Istanbul”

“Great staff, very helpful informing us of the neighborhood and how to get to the nearest station...etc. Breakfast not buffet though.”
