We loved the quiet location. The building was 100 years old and very nicely preserved. The spa was perfect and the staff members were all very helpful and kind. The food was 5 star!

Great service. Included complimentary car service to the local Izakaya restaurant. We used the Onsen twice. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great for a day or two stop over to relax.

Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen! We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen! Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel…. Don’t forget to check their ‘souvenirs table’ of locally or Japan made goodies to take home. The friendliness and discretion of the front desk people is exemplary. This was part of the highlight of our holidays in Japan. Thank you so much for offering such a beautiful hotel to us visiting tourists. We wish you only the best for years to come!

We really loved our stay. The building is old be very cozy and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely return there. If you plan to dine outside the hotel, make sure you book beforehand.

丹後ウルトラマラソンで二泊させていただきました。男性の宿泊客が多かったのか、女子風呂は2日ともほぼ貸切で、ゆっくりくつろげました。朝風呂も露天風呂貸切で最高！ スタッフの方も丁寧な対応で好感が持てました。食事は最終日の朝ごはんだけいただきましたが、品数も多く大変美味しかったです。周辺の飲食店は沢山はなさそうでしたが、近くにレストランはありました。また丹後に行くときには利用したいと思います。

コンセプト最高！

宿泊当日は台風接近もあり、キャンセルが続出していたようでフロントが対応に追われていました。 ホテルに取っては大損害でしょうがお陰様で温泉も貸切り風呂状態で利用出来るなど、ゆったりと滞在を楽しむことが出来ました。 ちなみに貸切風呂もあります。 お風呂も昭和初期をイメージしたどこか懐かしさを感じさせる設えになっています。 露天風呂のあるお風呂とジャングルww風呂のようなお風呂を朝と夜で男女で入れ替えています。 屋号の昭恋館はコンセプトが昭和を恋しむ館なんだと宿泊して納得しました。 部屋はやや古さも目立ち、コンセントの位置もスマホ充電にはやや不便でしたが、そんなことは些細なことで、朝ご飯も最高で大満足でした。

とても良かったです。

老舗の旅館といった感じでとても風情がありました。 サービス、対応、お食事、お風呂共にとても良かったです。 館内に自販機や売店は無く、また近くにコンビニ等もないのでチェックイン前に買い出しをしてからいくのがいいかも。

女３人の親子だけで宿泊させていただきました。 本当は食事なしだったんですが、 初めて行く場所でどこに何があるかもわからず、 スタンダードな懐石料理をつけてもらい、娘にはお弁当と聞いてたけどすごく立派な料理を出していただき、末っ子にシェアしながら美味しくいただきました。 スタッフの方々皆優しい方で、急な事にも対応していただき、本当にありがとうございました。 予定を詰めすぎてゆっくり宿泊して行く事は今回は難しかったので、次に伺う際は2〜3泊してゆっくり泊まりたいです。

良い旅館です

室内は純和風と言った感じで、とても落ち着きます。露天風呂から海を一望する事が出来て大満足でした。接客も皆さんとても良かったです。 ただ施設に関係ありませんが、コンビニが近くにないので徒歩だと大変です。
