My family had a really horrible experience. We arrived and were never able to get in; which left my wife, 2 kids and I with no place to stay. Leading up to the reservation date I had not received communication from the host on check in instructions, so I sent several messages with no reply. This completely ruined our afternoon in London as we were scrambling to find somewhere else to stay which was not easy during Wimbledon (timing was terrible). I never got any message back from the host; no idea what happened.

Stranded at the airport.

We booked this space for 9 days about 2-3 months before our trip. As we boarded our flight for nonstop from US to London, I happen to check my e-mail and noticed that about 7 hours before check in, the host was canceling our renovation and refunding our money. It was classified as “natural disaster/ property damage”. No other explanation. Despite reaching out, we received no further communication. This was 7 hours before check in. Not being able to get on to the WiFi on the plane, we had to scramble at the airport. It was a disaster, stressful and much more expensive than we hoped to spend needing to get last minute hotels. We were in the area of the flat which is right above a bakery. We learned from the bakery staff that this was a fabrication and there had been no natural disaster and no visible building issues. Unfortunately, places like this deters others from renting places on Vrbo.

Cour séjour familial pour Noël

Très joli logement et super bien placé. Il y a quelques points à améliorer - ménage, équipement, fermeture des fenêtres - mais globalement très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons passé un très bon moment ici.
