We didn't have the greatest stay at this hotel. It's clean, looks nice, good location. But the processes of booking a pool time, and using an app for everything was annoying. It's nice to have the option but it was basically mandatory. We hadn't eaten so we decided to get room service. Used the app and waited. After about an hour of refreshing an app that just said our order was "pending". I called the front desk to ask about our order. We discover they somehow didn't see it and said it would be up to our room soon. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we finally got our food. We got a small "sorry".
Food was good the first night but the breakfast was chaos. That's the only word i can use for it. So many people and the space isn't quite big enough. Things weren't being refilled very fast, we went up a few times to find trays empty. It tasted good but we honestly couldn't wait to get out of there. To much stuff scattered across a small room with way too many people. There was even a notice by the elevator that the breakfast is busy and recommending to order room service instead, which obviously is in our experience unreliable.
Now heres the final bad experience. On our last night just as we were about to sleep the fire alarm sounds. We quickly get out and discover there was actually a small fire. We were allowed back in after 2 hours or so outside. Not hotels fault, but there weren't enough emergency blankets and little instruction. Scary and they were ill prepared.
