The water activities were a standout. Jet skiing was pure adrenaline and a definite crowd-pleaser across generations. The boat tour and snorkeling were equally impressive—well organized, safe, and genuinely enjoyable, not the usual tourist filler. Clear waters, great guides, and memorable moments all around. What really seals the deal is how family-friendly the resort is without feeling chaotic. Staff are polished, responsive, and clearly trained to manage large groups smoothly. You feel taken care of without being hovered over. This is old-school hospitality executed with modern scale and ambition. Grand Hyatt Baha Mar isn’t just a resort—it’s a well-run ecosystem that knows exactly what it’s doing. Strong recommendation. "One of our favourite stays in the world. Have returned three times now and will be keeping it in the rotation. Restaurant staff are always on Bahamian time, but the drivers (to Old Fort), Freddy at the pool bar, and the turn-down staff are extra kind, and we always appreciate them."

"Very clean, great air conditioning (controllable to different temperatures in each room, which is helpful). Secure (property is gated) and walkable to bars and restaurants, plus a great beach. Highly recommend Lamont, a driver with a sprinter van, kept luggage for us, punctual and great knowledge of the area. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Family vacation for 7 of us. Plenty of room to give us space. The beachfront access was perfect, didn’t have to fight the crowds from the cruise ships. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils and had a washer dyer. We’ll be back. Hosts responded quickly to any questions we had."
