「Great rooms and service. Guests skew quite old which was a bit comical as two younger travelers in our mid-20s surrounded by a sun toasted retirement community」

「Me and my wife had an extremely pleasant stay with the Editory Ocean Way. The rooms were modern and clean. The staff were accommodating, friendly willing to help at all times. The facilities are easily accessible and are always kept clean i.e. the sauna, steam room, swimming pools etc. Breakfast was great with many different varieties. The location is great only 5 mins into central Funchal. Would 100% recommend.」

「Lovely location and room sea view was spectacular over the rock pools which were lovely to swim in. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and also gave us a packed breakfast/lunch when we had to head out early on tours. The roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely to relax in at the end of a packed day. Only downside is the infrequent public transport to Funchal so you will need to catch Bolts so end up pricey. If you have a hire car it’s an ideal location Loved this 5 night...

「Wir sind zufrieden. Tatsächlich haben wir nur geschlafen und gefrühstückt im Hotel. Pool oder andere Aktivitäten haben im Hotel nicht besucht. Vom frühstück waren wir nicht so sehr begeistert, jeden Tag wurde das selbe angeboten und die Auswahl war jetzt auch nicht so groß. Wir hatten noch ein kleines Problem mit der Klima und das wurde innerhalb vom 30 min gelöst. Alle waren super freundlichen hilfreich.」

「Pestana Royal is a very outdated hotel. If you are looking for clean modern look that is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place with high quality food that is not the right place. Food quality is very poor. It is a very mediocre place with clean rooms and very mediocre food.」
