“Room is spacious but the room for improvement at the front desk while check-in”

“We didn’t know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful inn. We were warmly welcomed by Gail upon arrival and shown around the property after registering us. Our room, the common areas - lounge and pantry - and the outdoor spaces were very clean and well maintained. Our bed was comfortable and the linen smelled fresh. “We were surprised there were no USB charging ports in the room, the AC was a bit loud when it kicked in, other than that it was lovely - the bed was amazing!!! Great well kept grounds Lovely restaurant with amazing food Spa was great too ”

“A perfect stay! Extremely organized with clear, timely instruction for self entry/check in. Easily accommodated a late check in, and was able to leave car on site before the room was even ready which helped so much. Breakfast instructions were clear. Both floors have 24/7 water and coffee which was extremely helpful for hot days/early mornings/afternoon pick me ups without spending extra money elsewhere. The Rose Room was gorgeous, and so calming after a day out with a nice sitting area so you……

“Staff were really helpful and friendly and the hotel had a rustic and old fashioned charm which was a nice change from glass fronted and steel framed modern hotels. Probably could do with a wee bit of a refresh but not to the extent that it would destroy the charm of this friendly hotel.”
