“The property host was easy to get a hold of and addressed issues quickly. There wasn’t a coffee pot in the cottage when we arrived, so I alerted the host and he provided a new one that evening. When I alerted him that the A/C wasn’t working he did refund for the last two nights. He was apologetic and tried to have it fixed immediately, however he was not able to. Not for lack of effort. The only downsides were, the backyard property and yard surrounding the cottage needed to be cleaned up.……

“The apartment had a mildew/damp smell as soon as we opened the door and did not subside with AC and fans. The towels were clean but stained and the bathroom rug was also stained or dirty. Both of which were very off putting. The furnishings were minimal and the bed was comfortable enough. The sofa bed was actually a futon and wasn’t very comfortable to sit on. “Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the yard because it rained the whole time. However, everything else was perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, including the very large refrigerator. The hosts were outgoing and accommodating. The weather changed a lot, but the heater and air conditioner were more than adequate. We stayed with mom, dad, college boy, little kid and Gramma. It was all cozy and comfortable, including the mattresses. The location was perfect, as we were there to visit……

"The only positives of this hotel are its convenient location and low price — unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The room itself had multiple issues: stained pillows, a leaking refrigerator, and a noticeable musty smell throughout the room. However, the most unacceptable part of the stay was the housekeeping service. During room cleaning, the staff knocked over everything that was placed on the countertop, left the mess as it was, and failed to collect the trash altogether. This showed a clear lack of care and professionalism. While this hotel may appeal to budget travelers looking only for location, the poor room condition and especially the careless housekeeping made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. I would not choose to stay here again."
