Este hotel me encantó todo, muy limpio, el trato excelente, pero quiero destacar que en el lobby no hay aire acondicionado, pero si no lo van a poner por favor recomiendo que pongan entonces unos ventiladores de techo grandes , porque el calor es insoportable, yo haciendo el checking cuando llegue y empapada en sudor, otra cosa es que en el restaurante japonés, el calor también insoportable ya que el aire está roto y en una parte no hay aire , el chef y el mesero empapados en sudor junto con los clientes, deben poner ojo a estas sugerencias, por lo demás, me encantó, muchas gracias

The property is beautiful and the size of the resort is excellent. However, the food was lacking in flavor and the service was lacking. This could be because we usually stay as Privilege guests but tried it without this time. There is a definite difference in service and amenities that you receive.

I had a great time at this resort overall, but a few issues prevented me from giving a full 5 stars. I booked transportation through the resort, which required prepayment. After booking, I emailed multiple times over the course of a week and a half to confirm the pickup time and ask a few questions, but received no response. I ended up calling (incurring international charges), and I requested a refund, which was thankfully processed after some persistence. Communication needs improvement. As for dining, there are plenty of options. The breakfast buffet and hibachi were great, and the coffee and ice cream shop were excellent. The sports bar also had good food. The fine dining restaurant was enjoyable, but the Italian spot and buffet dinner selections were not good. The Japanese restaurant had a very long wait for food (over an hour and a half with only two tables ahead), and the sushi included cheese in all the rolls, which I didn’t care for. Some items at the Mexican restaurant were good, others not so much. Poolside pizza was tasty. I also appreciated that they kept cleaning up the seaweed from the ocean. Not all hotels were doing that so atleast I was able to enjoy the warm water not just the pool. Despite the inconsistencies, I appreciated the variety of food choices, polite staff and still enjoyed my stay.

Pros: • The resort grounds are clean and well-maintained, giving it a fresh and inviting feel. • The staff is friendly and attentive, always greeting you with a smile and happy to help. • The drinks are strong, which is a definite plus if you’re planning to enjoy a few cocktails by the pool or beach. • We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a great selection and was consistently fresh and well-stocked. • Being an adults-only resort, the vibe is calm and serene—no loud parties or kids running around, which many will appreciate. Cons: • If you’re hoping for nightlife or evening entertainment, this might not be the place for you. Nights are very quiet, with minimal activities once the sun sets. • The resort clearly caters more to couples, so groups of friends or families might feel a bit out of place. • Pool seating is limited, and you may have to head down early to snag a chair—especially on busy days. • While breakfast was great, we found the rest of the food to be mediocre, with some meals lacking flavor or variety.

Nice property, we had one issue with the door lock battery and getting someone to help took a while plus the tv wouldn’t work after a few hours and had to be reset. Overall the stay was nice, rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and the all inclusive feature was nice.

Loved everything about this property-except the big issue with seaweed. Clearly, there is not much the hotel can do about a natural problem in the area. Ocean Maya had non-stop workers trying to address the seaweed problem but it is an uphill battle. The hotel is lovely, staff is nice, food was delicious!

We had a lovely visit. The staff were friendly and professional and the grounds were lush and walkable. I would say the pools need cleaning and updating but other than that everything was great. The pool restaurant wasn’t great food wise but all of the other restaurants were good especially the buffet. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was hoping for little bottles of liquor in the fridge but the drinks were always available at the bars so that wasn’t a big deal. The beach cleanup staff was always working hard to clear the sargassum and we had a few days of clear beach which was wonderful. One thing I didn’t like was multiple people always walking around trying to sell you events, massages, jewelry, and photography. I was constantly having to tell sales people no thank you. That was annoying especially when I’m just trying to enjoy my time and relax. I didn’t mind the little shops on property but the people walking along the beach on the property and the pools was excessive. Overall for the price, such a great deal!
