"Hard to find, few amenities. No breakfast available due to them not having items. "

"I’m sure it’s a nice hotel but what they don’t tell you is that even if you book on here and pay in full, SIX MONTHS in advance, they can still be overbooked (because rewards members take precedent?) and move you to a Holiday Inn several blocks away once you arrive. No prior notice (even though this was already decided prior to our arrival). It was extremely inconvenient and disheartening. I’m sure it’s a nice hotel but we didn’t make it past the lobby. Valet people were super nice and the manager was nice enough and apologized but the way this all works is just insane."

"had a glitch @ check in where no rooms were clean. the two wonderful ladies working check in were spot on and were able to get the situation corrected in a timely fashion. "

"The Hyatt Place in Downtown Houston offers spacious clean rooms and a nice breakfast in the mornings. Located in a busy Downtown location, the hotel offers valet parking at a steep price. During busy times, it could be very hectic. We sat in our car in the middle of the street for 15 min before we were able to hand our car over. Valet personnel however were courteous and helpful. The surrounding area is a little sketchy at night."

"They are undergoing renovations. Staff informed me renovations will be done in July. It was construction noise during the day but overall my stay wasn't horrible. 10 out of 10 in other time I've stayed there."

"Great hotel located downtown close to all west Dallas for easy access to midtown. Breakfast is delicious and the supper is great too with wonderful room service. The staff is warm and welcoming. The room was nice and clean and made a cozy one day stay."

"The hotel is gorgeous but the King sized bed was a Queen, the restaurant had gnats (bar area) the actual restaurant was closed but the food (dinner) looked like a tv dinner. Fried chicken was HIGHLY questionable, there was a piece of hair in my water. We did not pay for our meal, we could barely eat from the gnats swarming around our food. I was just disgusted to say the least. I expected more from this "luxury" hotel. NEVER AGAIN!"
