"Thoroughly enjoyed a nice September weekend at Mar Monte. The staff were wonderful: friendly & helpful. I'm from out of State, and found the fresh produce in the restaurants to be outstanding, along with good service. The room was comfortable - firm mattress, with a soft pillow-top, soft pillow, good temperature. They do have a primitive cooling system, which is rather loud. Bathroom & shower were clean & good. The hotel is right across the street from a clean and well maintained beach - safe for walking any time of day. I'd happily stay here again next visit."
"This is a great property with wonderful staff and two nice pools and hot tubs. The hot breakfast is one of the best ones we have had while traveling. Everyone is helpful and makes it an extra special stay. The area around the hotel is in the best part of Santa Barbara and has great shopping and restaurants just down the street.

"The Villa Rosa is an absolute GEM of a property. The location couldn’t be better (right on the beach), the decor and appurtenances are unique and beautiful, breakfast, wine happy hour, clean and comfortable rooms, pool, jacuzzi, and walking distance from everything “Santa Barbara”. This is a property you will travel to again and again.
Staff are all outstanding, and Melody at the front desk is super helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
This is a property with so much charm, you may never leave! We’ll be back again!
