“This was our fourth stay at this resort, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single time. We travel with our two kids—a one-year-old and a six-year-old—and we truly believe this is the perfect resort for families. My family has been traveling to Cancun for the past 10 years, staying at a variety of different resorts, and this one is, without a doubt, our favorite. The family-friendly atmosphere, activities for the kids, and overall experience keep bringing us back year after……

“We had an amazing stay at Iberostar JOIA! The food was excellent, the views were absolutely beautiful, and every single employee we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout goes to Lenin at the pool—he was an absolute superstar. He was always quick to help, attentive, and genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve ever met at a resort. He made our days by the pool even better and truly went above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this resort to anyone……

“Most restaurants closed at 3pm. The staff sends you away. Not inclusive as some liquors and wines only available for purchase. Buyer beware from Expedia. Resort credits of $400 is only if you spend $100 then off $25 so you’ll need to spend thousands to get the full $400 credit. I was supposed to get a wine bottle each day and that was not done either. And many of the restaurant s did not have the wine available from the limited selection. Mediocre food - do your research!”

“I have had serval dissatisfaction and disappointment events from staff to service , Expedia says that there’s room service but there is a cut off time which is not mentioned, I didn’t get the bedroom selected on my reservation and many others, However it’s always best for each to have their own experience.”
