“Overall a lovely property and we loved the hot tub. Decor is a little tired and the freezer didn’t close properly but we’d stay again - worth the money. ”

“Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed.”

“The cabin was lovely. For the 6 of us it was snug, but we managed fine. Location was great, right in the perfect area for us. Facilities at the site were good, the kids loved the pool. ”

“We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. ”

“The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan.……

“We had a wonderful stay at Betteridge View. The weather was not the best but it didn't matter at all. The lodge was clean, well stocked with everything you need for a self catering break. We would certainly recommend the lodge and we will certainly book again. Thank you.”

“Check in was quite easy. The email provided all of the details required. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. There were also some games and toys for our granddaughter to use. Nice quiet location in the Lake District.”

“Beautiful location, nice and quiet. Perfectly presented, clean and cosy. Everything we needed for a cycling holiday. We stored the bikes in a garage. Stone throw from Hawkshead pub and shops. The owner is very friend and extremely helpful. The hot tub is quite a treat in the evening. ”

“This place is not about the cleanliness or hygiene, it about getting back into the natural world, seeing Mother Nature at her best, taking advantage of the lovely wilderness. It was so peaceful and tranquil, the sound of the stream next to us was amazing! Would definitely recommend! Currently looking for my own hut I’ve lived it so much!”
