"We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay. We expected a simple hotel that would be all we needed for a location near an event we were attending, but we totally underestimated things. The building is beautiful, our room was clean, well decorated and comfortable, all staff we spoke to were lovely, and both our dinner in the cocktail bar and breakfast in the dining room were good quality."

"Everything about this hotel was lovely. The location is just fab and the décor delightful. Rooms are smart and the owners so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent! This hotel it was so handy close to the centre the centre just 4 minutes walk and there was ample parking too. Finally before you leave take your camera and head upstairs to the lounge area you will get the most amazing photos from the huge bay window looking out over the water. I'll definitely go back :-)"

"Restaurant and bar was closed. Stairs was very scruffy and room door was sticking, it was actually the hinges that were coming loose. The room itself was reasonable and bathroom looked to have been just refurbished. The one member of staff that was there was helpful and I did report the door to him."
