“All staff were super friendly, and welcoming. They were keen to help us settle in, and then to offer suggestions on places to visit and how to get there. Our room was bright and had a beautiful view over the bowling greens. It was the perfect way to begin our UK holiday ... relaxing and low-key. Thank you all.”

“Everything about this hotel was lovely. The location is just fab and the décor delightful. Rooms are smart and the owners so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent! This hotel it was so handy close to the centre the centre just 4 minutes walk and there was ample parking too. Finally before you leave take your camera and head upstairs to the lounge area you will get the most amazing photos from the huge bay window looking out over the water. I'll definitely go back :-)”

“Hotel is in need of upgrading , room was nice but bath and shower needed replacing when turning on taps it was very noisy. Pillows very cheap and thin. Breakfast wasn't very good , coffee weak . Bread cheap assortment of pastries good if that's what you like for breakfast. Hams and cheese first day a few bits second day none had to settle for honey on toast and a banana. ”

“The hotel is beautiful and the staff really friendly. We tried different restaurants, all were good. The breakfast was good, everyone will find something. The gym is excellent, the pool is nice and warm, though too crowded and may be a bit small for the hotel size plus club members plus lodges. Due to the beautiful location it is complicated to get around without a car. ”

“We didn't actually stay as the accommodation was not operating as a B and B when we arrived. Hence the poor rating. Expedia were very helpful when I rang to let them know what had happened”
