“The room was filthy. The floors were sticky. The mirror was foggy and clearly had not been wiped down. We had a large spider in our room. There were hair balls in the corner of the room. The hot tub had been concreted in, which was not disclosed upon checking in that they no longer had a hot tub. The entire building was very rundown in major need of renovation and updates the hotel staff kept asking unusual and strange questions and making a point to intercept us wherever we were walking in the……

“The furniture looked newer but the carpet was dirty and the doors were old and in rough shape. No body wash in the shower. Coffee was good.”

“We had a massage and they were fantastic. My husband golfed and said the course was in pristine condition. The restaurant 1878 had a delicious wedge salad and the sirloin steak cooked perfectly. The weather was perfect at 80 degrees. It was a fantastic trip. The staff was friendly and the rooms very clean.”

“The indoor family pool area was inadequately maintained, particularly the hot tub, which was in a deplorable state. It was excessively dirty, with substantial foam and visible brown dirt spots. Abbey Resort imposes an amusement fee exceeding twenty percent; however, it appears that insufficient funds have been allocated for proper cleaning.
