Top Ernest Shackleton Statue Hotel Reviews
Zedwell Piccadilly Circus
10/10 Excellent
"Super location, good clean functional rooms and amenities, staff are not the friendliest but apart from that it’s a great value for hotel in center of London"
Princes Gardens
8/10 Good
"Fantastic location. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Would stay again."
Bluedaws Private Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very basic accommodations,, but perfectly nice. Know what you're getting yourself into. It's very good for the price, but you're not getting top of the line quality. Amenities? No. There room was clean enough, everything was washed, though it showed some wear. The room is extremely basic, it really is just beds and a sink. One small piece of hand soap. No hand towels, no shampoo, no face cloth, etc. The shared bathroom should be a consideration for anyone coming here. It's a single bathroom with a single toilet, and a very small shower with little water pressure. It can be very inconvenient if another guest leaves a mess. There's one floor mat to share with other guests out of the shower. The whole place could do with some renovation. The toilet lid doesn't stay up and crashes down. The toilet doesn't flush every time easily. The TV antenna was completely broken. The shower head is old and doesn't seem in decent condition. The beds are small, not very comfortable and the bunk beds are very noisy, as is the street (and you must leave the window open to get some airflow). Just extremely basic. But the staff is really kind, the breakfast included is perfectly good. If you go in with right expectations, it's a nice stay. But if you expect any amenity or anything beyond a basic bed, you're asking too much for the price."
The Exhibitionist Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"A delightful property located a short walk from the British Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. A pedestrian mall of restaurants of varied cuisine is in a 1- to 2-block walking radius. If you're planning on going to other locations in London, the South Kensington underground station is 2-blocks away. The art installations throughout the hotel will brighten your stay and 2-for-1 delicious cocktails from 5-9 are an added bonus. Highly recommend this property."
The Queen's Gate Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location, close to two subway stations that connect you to the whole city. Lots to see walking distance. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok, if you’re craving better food or matcha for example there are good options walking distance. Do note the subway line to Heathrow doesn’t open till around 8am so if you have an early flight like we did you’ll need to take a cab which wasn’t cheap"
Otherwander Soho Pod Hotel (ADULTS ONLY)
8/10 Good
"Excellent location, shared same sex showers and bathroom areas. Cabins very small"
Mitre House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Quite an ‘old school’ hotel in terms of decor, handing the key at reception before going out and table service in the restaurant (no buffet), but fine for all that. It was clean and quiet and the room had a fan which was useful for a warm night. The great advantage is its proximity to Paddington Station. We would certainly use it again."
Bob W London Hyde Park
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location easy to walk to parks and wonderful restaurants."
Royal Garden Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We celebrated my partner's birthday, we had a room overlooking the park which was breathtaking, the room was modern and clean, what you expect from a 5 star hotel. All the staff ww met were kind, polite and went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Lots of choices for buffet breakfast, delicious food. Overall, the service was outstanding! While we were there we booked another weekend stay."
