“This is a very nice hotel with an excellent location just a short walk from the train station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept, creating a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of exploring. The restaurant was a highlight—delicious food with great variety, beautifully prepared and presented. What really stood out, however, was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.……
“The hotel is very comfy, with nice staff and environment, the beds and toilet are all clean. There is staff standby in the front desk 24hrs, so even if we arrived the hotel late in midnight, still able to have help from the staff.
The breakfast lady is very nice too.
But the location is not in city centre, we have to travel through uber each time for about 15mins, but it is easy to call uber so doesnt really bothered.
They got thick blanket so it's warm and cozy in bed, but since the room is……
“We are from the US and have really been impressed about the service of this hotel. I highly recommend this place if you are in Cuzco. It is about 10 min walk to the historic square. Lastly there are great vegan options very close to the restaurant. ”
“Location, location, location. Is it a luxurious hotel where you can just stay in for the day and enjoy hotel amenities?... no is not. It is boutique hotel in the heart of Cusco, walking distance to almost everything, where they treat you great, is clean, you have a great night sleep and hot shower and better breakfast and then go visit the city and take your tours during the day... repeat. Yes, I would recommend, value vs quality is great, no complaints at all. As a family this is the type of……
“This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature……
“Hotel Luz Garden was such a joy! It is just minutes away from the Aguas Calientes train station (ex. Local, Inka Rail, Perú Rail) and also near Ministerio de Cultural office if you need to buy a last minute ticket to Macchu Picchu. The staff and hospitality at this hotel was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and they have a storage room for your luggage. The rooms were clean, had Inkan decor, and most importantly, heat! I went August 2025 so it was definitely chilly in town. There……
“Muy buen hotel costo beneficio sacrificando un poco lo centrico del hotel a cambio de confort , piscina , areas verdad estar a la orilla del rio es increible. Muy recomendado.”
“Casa del sol staff was amazing! They contacted me before the trip to make sure we had our Machu Picchu tickets, bus tickets and requested our time of arrival at the train station to help us get to the hotel. They also got us a guide for Machu Picchu who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and helped us get in line and on the bus asap. The staff made the trip so easy and comfortable. The staff was extremely nice with excellent customer service. We would definitely come back to this hotel!! ”
“Behind a set of green wooden doors lies a lovely oasis within this bustling Cuzco neighborhood. The Aguilar Family have created a charming and warm “hotel” that feels more like a Bed & Breakfast due to its cozy & friendly atmosphere!
It was great coming back from day trips to clean rooms with incredibly comfortable beds ! On days when we headed out before breakfast the family made sure we left with bags full of fresh fruit and treats to help get us through our journeys ! This is the perfect……
“The atmosphere of the hotel feels like a warm embrace. Victor, the owner, is friendly and easy to talk to in both English and Spanish, as are all the workers. If you have any early morning excursions, they’ll prepare you a breakfast to go. The breakfast is both filling and healthy, so you won’t feel bloated. The rooms are spacious, clean, and homey. The cherry on top is that the hotel is only a 15–30 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas, depending on your pace. When I return to Cusco, I’ll be……

They got thick blanket so it's warm and cozy in bed, but since the room is quite cold without heater, it is freezing cold when you are out of bed 4 in the midnight preparing to go out for some tour. Prepare really warm clothes."
