“Wonderful property”

“This is our 4th visit to this condo. Needless to say we love everything about it. We watch the various birds come onto the lawn in the morning as we enjoy breakfast on the patio. We love the access to Mauna Kea amenities - the beach is our favorite hangout. The check-in process is quick and seamless. South Kohala Management team makes everything so easy - they are so responsive. We love this place and will stay again in the near future.”

“This property has it all, wonderful, central location, all the amenities, terrific view, close to the pool and a quick (less than 2 min) drive to shopping, the beach and the beach club. The decor is subtle Hawaiian and with the outdoor kitchen and fully equipped indoor kitchen you can cook all the fish you can catch! The management company was super easy to work with, any question we had was promptly answered on text. I highly recommend it!”

“Overall a great stay; the complex is very nice, good layout with two large primary bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. The unit did have plumbing issues while we were there, they communicated quickly to get someone in to help. The unit could use a freshening up - furniture, carpet, and plumbing all getting fairly dated.”

“We had a great stay at this property. It was clean and well furnished with everything we needed for trips to the beach and pool. The property manager was very responsive and check in and check out were a breeze. The location is great with the Fairmont in walking distance. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay again!”

“This property is spectacular! My wife, two college-aged daughters, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit has an incredible, unobstructed view of the ocean, so close that one goes to sleep with the calming sound of the waves breaking on the beach that is a 30-second walk from the building. It offers all the amenities of the excellent hotel next to which it sits: pools, restaurants, spacious and well equipped fitness center, etc. The unit appears new and is well maintained. “Spacious 1 bedroom. Very clean and updated. We had all we needed including beach chairs. It has a beautiful ocean view and comfortable back patio. Dining and watching the sunset from the patio was beautiful. It’s an easy walk to the Beach Club which made for a relaxing afternoon. We’ll be back. Aloha!”

“Have stayed at The Fairways many times, and this is one of the best floor plans. Main floor MBR with 2 bedrooms upstairs. Convenient to pool and facilities. Highly recommend!”

“We took a quick trip back to Hawaii to visit our friends and family after moving to the mainland a few years back and stayed at the condo in Mauna Lani. I am very picky with cleanliness and I was very impressed!! The unit is very clean and had all the things we needed. Having a baby it was a must have to have a pack and play and they had a very clean one. We also needed to extend our stay and Meredith was great with helping us with this. The swimming pool is right off the Lani, which was great……

“I had read one of the reviews while I was investigating where to stay and they said it’s better than the pictures show…. I agree. It’s an amazing setting with sliding doors that open all the way so you feel like you are sitting outside. The beautiful unit and location are unbeatable. I shopped all the other resorts along the coast. My final decision was based on a couple things. None of the other properties have the white sand beach, a kitchen, laundry or resort amenities that you can use with……

“4 days in early December-- great location, responsive manager, extremely clean and well-appointed---high quality bedding and towels-- plus amenities like shampoo, soap and dishwasher/ washing machine pods-Really nice neighborhood--quiet and safe, but within walking distance of the Mauna Lani hotel (restaurants, bar)--and a short drive to several malls/grocery stores. The beach and restaurant at the Beach Club were both great--with excellent snorkeling available right from the beach and ample……

“you could settle down in this condo for your entire stay and do nothing but enjoy yourself. Pool 100 yds away, dining/shopping options nearby, golf if that is your thing. The lanai off the master BR will suck up some time too. Kitchen was lavishly appointed and stocked. For you workaholics, there is an office nook upstairs for you to manage your kingdom from w/o ruining everyone else's fun! Nowhere in HI is inexpensive anymore (25% tax/fees added on) but comparable packages aren't any less.”

“The beach on the property was awesome. The guys on the ATV's on the beach need to minimize there trips past the chairs with umbrellas, they went back and forth too much. They also need to travel down the sides of the chairs not through the middle divide of the chairs. ”
