"The unit was dated. I would t call it as luxury stay. It was more of the economy stay. The bedding in the 2nd bedroom had black stains that looked like molten. Bathroom didn’t have essential amenities when arrived. It didn’t have washer/dryer. Communication to the property manager was good. Overall it was ok. We probably won’t stay here again. "

"If you are looking for a comfortable and affordable place look no further. While it may be a few blocks away from the beach it is a great place to stay. Anybody offering a negative review would be nitpicking. As an 8-year owner/host of a short-term rental I can attest to this place being top notch. It is very well provisioned with kitchen needs including lots of condiments, spices, etc. There is a great variety of sports gear and a washer and dryer. You truly could not do better."

"Things we loved: the view was phenomenal! Loved our morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. Good use of space. Comfy bed and lots of hot water and pressure in the shower. Lots of towels etc.The grounds are very well maintained. Pool and bbq area are great. Vanessa communicates well through direct messaging not Vrbo.Things we didn’t love: apartment needs some tlc and updating but does not affect the overall experience…and the carpets need to go lol Would we stay here again? "We were looking for a place to begin the Road to Hana. This location in Haiku was perfect. We were able to get an early start the next day to beat the crowds. We stayed here again on the way back after our stay in Hana. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Paia town where there are little shops and great eateries: fish, flatbread, ice cream, shave ice, etc. I got here a couple minutes before check in at 4 but received no communication from the owner on how to check in. Apparently the email doesn’t...
