The cottage and surrounding property are stunning, and her cute cat who lives on the lenai loved to hang out with us. Only wish we could have stayed longer, would stay here again! "

"After searching through many listings, we decided to book Kimi’s ohana. Previous reviews are spot on! It is comfortable and a good value. The landscaping and partial ocean view from back deck enhanced our stay even more.Efficient a/c unit maintains your comfort. Kitchen is well supplied with quality dish and cookware. Also a gas grill to bbq that wonderful island beef!We enjoyed visiting with Kimi, and meeting her rescue cat Harley! Kimi is always available, but respects her guests privacy...

"We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The setting is amazing, with two of the best hosts around! No details were ever overlooked, from the assortment of snacks to the already prepped coffee. Room was beautiful! We enjoyed getting some recommendations and volcano updates. My only complaint was that we had to leave. We will be back for sure!"

"Room was clean. Appreciated the availability of the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler that were in the room, definitely a plus! We were there for 5 nights with only two towels per person. Ended up buying beach towels and using the supplied beach towels to shower with. You also do not have access to the resort pool towels. This unit is quite a hike from the parking so be prepared to walk a lot. Not a big deal for us but for some it might be a problem. Not really a swimmable beach at the resort....

"The resort is well keep with good restaurants on the property . Room location is good wit nice view of plantation and ocean view . Enjoyed view of sunrise. Beach is few steps away to beach. One major negative is does not have basic amenities of mircowave / kitchenette in room. Towel service is at extra cost. "

"GPS didn’t take us to the home. Coming in after dark, in the rain and a long travel day made this a challenge. The home was very cute and met our needs since we weren’t planning to cook. Lovely setting and close to Volcano Natl Park."
