“The property was exactly as listed, having the lake across the road was nice to swim in after the hot days. House was clean had everything we needed. The only thing we would change would be the mattress and the couch in the living area. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit on at the end of the night and not much better to sleep on. The mattress was very soft and we sank in. Other then these items I would recommend to others and stay again. ”

“There were so many special touches in this unique, vintage farmhouse. From snacks to water to multiple ways to make coffee and the coffee itself, the cute furniture and lamps —what’s not to love? The stairs to the main level are steep and narrow but can be easily navigated with care. There were lots of great books, games, and puzzles, too. We loved the dining table for eating and board games. The host is extremely nice and very responsive. The outdoor space looks nice, too. It was raining during……

“Overall, we loved this lake house. We used it as a test run to see if we could handle a trip with our three dogs…so grateful you were one of the few places accepting multiple (large) dogs.The dogs did not mind the mucky lake bottom as much as I did, but as a Michigander I should know better. Glad we were there not on a boat-crowded weekend.The house itself is renovated modernly/stylishly.But with no dishwasher, some of the dishes were dirty out of the cabinets. We brought dish soap from home. ……
