“This was our first time in Maui and it was excellent. The location is great. Walking distance to a few beach access areas and some restaurants (I am still thinking about the fresh caught sashimi we had from Miso Phat). The unit has air conditioning, but we only turned it on once. It was not very hot during our stay so we opted to open some windows instead to create a cross breeze while we let the ocean waves lull us to sleep. “Wonderful setting, probably the BEST patio view of ocean of the entire condo property. Right on beach, 100% ocean view and top floor. Short walk from parking. Property was well maintained and wonderful. We used it all and had a great visit. Overall property was nice as well, including put golf, pools, and grills. We discovered several awesome restaurants, shops and even got some tattoos locally. Maui is expensive, but this place was worth the investment of memories and the community was great……

“We stayed at this property for a week to celebrate a 60th Birthday. We thought the property was beautiful. The description of the property was accurate and do give it 5 stars for that. The grounds are immaculate, and the community pool is very nice. The condo itself is very old and we knew that, and we would have gave 5 stars all around, but condo was not clean, mirrors and appliances and balcony doors looked like they had not been cleaned in quite awhile. The furniture is old and cushion covers……

“Royal Kahana is showing it's age despite the construction going on which made lots of noise during the day. Our unit was nicely renovated. The sliding glass door was noisy at night due to the high winds. Staff and security were very friendly. Parking was easy to find. We would come back.”
