“We really wanted to give Hotel 39 a full 5-star rating, but a few small details held us back. Each time we showered, water leaked out of the bathroom into the room, which was inconvenient. The breakfast was decent, but it lacked authenticity, being Jamaican, the flavors didn’t quite hit for us and overall tasted a bit bland. That said, the breakfast staff truly stood out. Their customer service was exceptional, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. We felt welcomed……

“This hotel was the worst experience. I got food poisoning from the breakfast parti. The room was located right out side of the main road so it was LOUD! The censor in the bathroom kept going out. If you could afford to, stay somewhere else. ”

“This is my own personal experience of Country Country. I didn’t think the staff went above and beyond. The rooms were not as clean with spider webs everywhere. We asked for two blankets multiple times and never got them. Beach towels weren’t readily available when one was soiled. I really wanted to experience prior reviews. But that just didn’t happen. Food was mediocre. Our server was very nice when we did eat there for breakfast. The menu did not reflect what they had. The stay was worth it……
