Tolovana Inn

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is conveniently located to haystack rock. There are many wild bunnies on the property. The bed was comfortable. The room was stuffy. It had heat, but no AC. I had the window open but there wasn't much circulation. There was a box fan, but it was still warm for September. I was in a first floor room that was noisy due to foot traffic and people walking dogs. There is convenience parking. The staff is friendly and gave dining recommendations. There is a pool and hot tub that I did not use."

"I had to switch rooms because upon arrival there was a really strong odor coming from room due to food being left in the refrigerator that had lots of onions and stuff in it. Staff acted quickly and switched my husband and I rooms but my husband had already start unpacking and we had to pack things up and move rooms. It was my birthday weekend we had plans it put us a tad behind but not too much."

"The property is being completely renovated so it was hard to give a better rating with the construction going on. The location and Ocean view and easy access to the beach were a real plus and the staff were Great!"

"Loved the blue color way, conveniently next to Dairy Queen subway Mcd kfc etc. WiFi and tv was down, but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised for such a cheap stay! Less than $60 got me a table, king bed, chairs, many convenient lights and plugs, easy parking, fridge, and bathroom actually smelled like it was cleaned. Bedding was clean and not stained and pillows were fluffy. Even had a pool. -1 star for no WiFi and stains on hand towels from other peoples makeup but overall would stay here again. Close to California border"
