“Outstanding food, friendly staff, well maintained and a beautiful location. Only minus is that the property's beach doesn't have that crystal clear blue water due to the seaweed. But you can leave on snorkeling outings or rent jet skis. The multiple pools and restaurants were so nice that it didn't matter. We would go back again. Traveled with a 4 year old and 15 month old. And they had a great time.”

“Leider war Schlaf kaum möglich, da die ganze Nacht Bauarbeiten (laute Schleifarbeiten) am Nachbargebäude stattgefunden haben. Weiter ist das Wasser in der Dusche salzig und nicht warm. Wir sind daher einen Tag vorher angereist. Das Personal war wiederum sehr nett ”

“Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip.”

“This was our second stay at Paradisius Playa Del Carmen, and it was even better than the first time. The staff went above and beyond to give us exceptional service. The food, pools, and entertainment was great. The only negative is the beach, but they can't be blamed for that. Highly recommend this resort.”

“Loved the cleanliness of the property and the rooms. I didn’t like how I was unable to try out the restaurants and only had to eat at the buffets due to them being sold out every night of my trip. I wanted more options for food since I’m a big foodie!”

“Went as a group of 3 brothers. Enjoyed the entire stay. Beach/pool volleyball, drinks, excellent 24hr Cafe, French restaurant as well as others were also nice. Have visited multiple secrets properties, beach here may be the worst part of the stay if that is what you are after. Has the largest pool area out of the other secrets properties. For a beach vacation you would want to go to the akumal property or perhaps maroma. I would come back here simply for the entertainment activities as well as……

“The rooms were nice the property overall was difficult to navigate nothing was properly identified not even the restaurants. The buffets were average nothing to brag about. The pools were good but the water left a green film on our floating devices that we left them at the resort. The drinks were not consistent. Making dinner reservations on their portal was very difficult. On the positive end the staff was very nice. The concierge was very helpful. There is a lot of pool side seating and……
