Die Terasse, wie auch die Inneneinrichtung sind ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption und der Zimmerservice waren super nett! Im Restaurant war das leider nicht der Fall. Die Mitarbeiter waren bemüht, allerdings nicht sehr freundlich. Grundsätzlich hat es uns wie gesagt sehr gut gefallen und wir……

“It is a beautiful hotel, whereas it is really dark inside, also in the room (except of course when artificial light is switched on). Staff in general was not super friendly, with the exception of reception and the lady making the eggs. It was a clean hotel with high safety, wifi was fast it has a taste of luxury and a high service level. I didnt like the breakfast after 10 am as it looked super messy at around that time. “The room was clean, well appointed and very quiet. We were across from the elevator bank and didn’t hear them at all. The location is very good and so was the breakfast. I don’t think I’ve ever had better water pressure in the shower. Our only problem was our room seemed to be in a wifi dead zone. We had good service in the middle of the room but not at either end, including the balcony. The staff did try to rectify it but not much improvement. Would definitely stay again. ”

“Big hotel. Big rooms. Great pools. Modern, with conference style feel. Remarkable buffet, no need to go up the road and pay extra. Chocolate fountain on two nights. No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. ”
