"I will start off with “You get what you pay for”, but in this case I feel I received far more than I paid for. 1. Guests get a reserved parking spot for the duration of the stay. 2. The staff treats you like family, they go out of their way to make sure things are right. 3. The location of the hotel is a minute walk from Main a street, Deadwood so once you park your car, everything downtown is walkable. 4. "Very quaint and comfortable old Victorian hotel. We stayed in suite 1 that had a living room and separate bedroom and bathroom. We were the 1st guests of the new owners and only guests during our stay. We loved it!"

"This is a nice hotel for the price we paid in early May. It’s a quiet hotel just a very short drive from Deadwood. The tub/shower, toilet is separate from the sink area. The sink is in a very large cabinet giving you lots of countertop for all of your bathroom items. It’s an older hotel but we were very comfortable in our King bed room with small fridg and microwave. "
