817 Island Court was perfect for our stay. It had a super comfortable bed and bedding with a portable AC unit in the bedroom that allowed us to sleep in comfort during a heat wave that the area was experiencing. I wasn't expecting the rest of the unit to be so hot and stuffy even with fans, but no one can control the weather and there just wasn't any breeze. Fortunately, the unit has a really lovely patio with plenty of seating and a gas grill, so anytime we were at the unit, we just hung outside. It was a really quaint little area with cafe lights and pretty plants all around. It was surprisingly really quite also. I expected it to be more lively, but we barely saw anyone which made it nice and peaceful. The patio is shared with 2 other units. There was a really nice family from Ireland that we hung out with here and there so it was fun meeting new people. The walls are thick too because we didn't hear them upstairs at all. The unit had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, and I always love the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers. There was a hose outside which was convenient to rinse our feet of sand and get all of the salt water off our snorkeling gear. The garage is a pretty tight fit, but we didn't have any issues parking the compact car we rented in it. We just had the 2nd person get out before pulling in and left the door open since it wouldn't fit all of the way in. The unit is decorated so cute and beachy too with a lot of really pretty marine line artwork. The best is the location. We were right around from Ray's rentals and spent one day riding bikes all along the boardwalk. You are literally a minute walk to the ocean and to the bay. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. The hosts were excellent at communicating and check in and out was quick and easy.
