Great weekend getaway location for the wife and I. Only draw back is the whole house didn't have AC (common in CA beach communities) and it was very very hot this past weekend.

Beautiful place

The place was really beautiful. But I wish I had known there was no air conditioning. It was quite hot it was difficult for my parents to deal with. I am glad you had an air conditioning in the master bedroom. But the upstairs was pretty unbearable the first day and still hot the next two days. Also, it would've been nice to have a few more condiments especially some olive oil or some type of oil to cook with. The front gate code needs to have an asterisk after it. Also the lockbox is a bit difficult to use it's maybe a bit old? Also I could not get the garage door to lock I am not sure what happened there. But the place was beautiful the water pressure was great and the beds were great!

The location of Taormina was perfect. In the heart of the Funk zone. The beach and wharf were under 10 minute walks as were most restaurants. Also walkable to downtown, maybe 15-20 minutes. The rental itself was fabulous. Spacious, the pictures make it look smaller but it’s bigger than it looks with plenty of space and seating. The dining table was large and also great for family game night. Kitchen was well stocked with items for cooking and serving. The bedrooms were just what we needed for our family. Master en-suite and then two other rooms down the hall with a shared bathroom. The upper patio deck was perfect! Watch sunrises with coffee or sit by the fire at night with a glass of wine and the string lights on! Private too. Has plenty of seating (high top table, couch, chairs, stools) and a grill. Unit also has a nice full size fridge and washer/dryer set. Garage parking was clutch! Communication with the rental team was timely and available to help. Would stay again!
