Yamanouchi Shibu Hotels

"A beautiful full-service experience that exceeded our expectations. The included dinners and breakfasts not only tasted good, but also taught us about Japanese culture and customs. Thank you to all staff for providing the experience."

"Great stay loved it"

"Very unique traditional onsen experience! Staff were very kind and helpful. Only stayed on night but it was perfect, very close to Yudanaka train station and Snow Monkey Park bus station, and only a mile walk from Shibu Hot Springs! Thank you very much. "

"Onsen was excellent with a great view of the valley.. evening meals well worth the half board"

"Awesome stay!"

"Best food on our trip!"

"Helpful staff, beautiful rooms and baths"

"Our stay here was amazing. The onsens were relaxing and beautiful, but the staff is what made our stay one of our favorite places while in Japan. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home."

"This was a warm, family run ryokan with excellent service in a good location near shops and restaurants. The onsen waters were fantastic. "

"staff were wonderful and kind, area was beautiful as well"

"Had a lovely experience at this Ryokan. Great experience. Great food. Great staff. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time here."

"The hosts were really friendly and generous. The place is in a great town if you wish for a quiet and peaceful rest. However, the air conditioning was not working."

"We came for a short stay to recharge between our destinations. This property is older, but the rooms and the bath were clean. The room was very spacious and had extra blankets and stuff which was nice. Free snacks and alcohol was awesome!! The baths were also so relaxing. Sweet views and chill vibes. We loved getting a taste of the authentic Japanese stay experience. Not a lot of options for food since the town (?) was really small. Worth it for the quiet nature experience though."

"I enjoyed the dinner meal even though I made a rookie hot pot mistake."

"Clean rooms, good amenities, lovely host. "

"The hosts were very accommodating. We had a lovely room but it was adjacent to another room with a large group. Being that the hotel was more of a traditional style ryokan"

"The room is clean, friendly staff but breakfast is very basic. "

"The room is clean and the place is so quiet. Is convenient to travel to the park."

"お部屋にトイレがない、は古い建物でしょうが、全体的に隅々まで、よくお掃除されているようで気持ち良く過ごせました。 近くの池のホタルも華麗でした。"
