“Check-in went great. We had the standard 1 bedroom room. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfotable enough for a family of 3. Our first night at 4:30am the fire alarm directly above our bed started to beep every 30 seconds, like a home one does when the battery is running low. A hotel should have regular maintenance on their fire systems so this does not happen. This beep woke us and our toddler up. I called the front desk immediately who said they'd put an urgent request in to maintenance.……

“This is the second time we stayed at The Retreat. LOTS of space inside and out for our family to gather. Kids age 3-10 could not get enough of the heated pool and the adults especially enjoyed the hot tub. We added an 'exrra' and had a small family reunion one of the afternoons and the place was perfect for this. Game room such a bonus when it rained. We didn't need to leave the property but some checked out 7 Mile Fair. Communication with the owner was timely. I'm sure the family will vote to……

“Huge pool and pool room, arcade, pool table, ping pong, what’s not to like…?”

“Stay was good but had some plumbing issues. Had to plunge toilet twice, when it really wasn't necessary; sink in bathroom had draining problems too. Other than that, property was good. ”

“Cute little place with awesome views of the lake!!! All the amenities needed, very nicely decorated, and comfy beds! Personal parking spot a great plus! Some maintenance required though and a funny smell that was not pleasant to come back to. We had to buy a candle to drown out the smell and one family member with autoimmune health struggles had difficultly with this.”

“We used to live in Lake Geneva so we already knew about what used to be called Interlaken. Some things are still outdated. The air conditioning units are dated go back many years and are extremely loud. They will wake you up ”
