Hotel is located to lots of walkable shops and we had an amazing view of the
Safe quiet unit. Bedding could be more comfortable. Hotel area is in a very accessible area near the Skytree and Sensoji temple. Good service. Breakfast was good.
The hotel is nice. It is easy to find and less than a 10 minute from Asakusa Station where you can catch a Limited Express Train to both Narita and Haneda airports. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, the room was quite small and we found the beds a bit hard. The staff members we dealt eith were very friendly and helpful.r
Staff were absolutely amazing, we felt very welcome at the hotel and they were super friendly with us. The hotel is quite clean and in great quiet area. The only downside is that the beds were uncomfortable to sleep in (mattress was very thin) but aside from that, everything else was good
I chose this hotel because I was returning from Nikko and had an early flight the next morning. It turned out to be a very convenient transit point with easy access to the train. Although the station and the hotel are on opposite sides of the river, the distance is very short. I enjoyed walking across the bridge, taking in the view, and transitioning from the busy tourist area to this calm and quiet neighborhood. I also loved that the hotel provided pajamas — it meant I didn’t have to unpack my suitcase on my last night. Absolutely excellent.
It locates in a very quiet area in Asakusa, other side of Sumida river. About 10 minutes walking distance from metro station. This trip was a mother-daughter trip and we really stayed in our room for shower and sleep, we didn't really hangout in the area. The room was very small, I think it's smaller than standard japanese hotel room. We are petite, therefore we didn't have any trouble with the bathroom or beds. The price was very good, so if you are looking for an economical prices for accommodations, it will be great value.
The room smelled so bad inside. I had to keep the window open even at night when it was chilly because the smell was so bad. I don't know of it was mold or what. But It would not go away. Also, the blankets had yellow stains on them. The view was nice and the staff were nice.
We had a great stay at Ano hotel Asakusa.
The room was clean and has everything we needed, plus good breakfast, laundry and a wonderful view of the sky tree.
We highly recommend ano hotel.
Thank you so much ano hotel, you all were very kind, helpful and friendly!
The hotel location is really great, walkable from the stations and famous attractions. You could see Tokyo Sky Tree from the hotel balcony. The view is amazing at night. The room was also clean, warm and comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Good for its price 10 min walk to Asakusa shopping and restaurants only con restroom had a slight smell like urine.
This little 3-storey hotel has a front desk open 6am to midnight and a small breakfast open until 10am.
There were laundry facilities but the dryer didn’t really work, and the hotel wouldn’t supply extra coins for an extra try, because the washer/dryer is a separate company (!).
Our Room 207 supplied two twin beds, robust AC, a mini-fridge, a micro shower/sink room separated by a folding door from the private toilet. Plenty of power outlets and LED nightlights for each head.
From the outdoor walkway to our room, we could see the top 1/3 of the lighted Tokyo Sky Tree which is a couple km east walk away.
A great grocery store is a 2-minute walk and it’s a 10- min walk to the orange metro liner that goes directly to Tokyo Station. Only 5-minutes further to the busier, louder Sensoji Temple area with and modern restaurants and shops and other amenities.
Staff were polite enough and spoke Mandarin as well as Japanese and some English. Next time, I would choose a hotel closer to the Temple, or maybe sample a new Tokyo neighbourhood.
Rooms are small (got a single), but good for simply resting and sleeping. Wifi is good with no issues. Bathroom is also small, but functional. Shower pressure is strong. Bed is pretty stiff, and only a single soft pillow. AC/Heater unit works fine. Mini-fridge works, but temperature setter doesn't really work. Drinks may get frozen even at the lowest setting. Only real complaint is the elevator. It may occasionally go to certain floors on its own without pressing any buttons either in the elevator or on the floors themselves. Breakfast bar is simple, but good and is different each morning. Overall, a good hotel for resting and is within walking distance to Tokyo Skytree, convenience stores, eateries, and other places to just roam around.
Good value for money, good location, good service.
Great location for a solo traveller, reasonably close to Asakusa Station, a little disappointing that you have to hand your room key into reception every time you leave the hotel and reception closes between Midnight and 6:30AM, but then again, all public transport services stop just before Midnight as well.
Two washing machines and two tumble dryers are available on the ground floor, ¥300 to wash your clothes and ¥100 per 30 minutes in the dryer.
A breakfast buffet was available every morning between 7:30AM and 11AM, ¥800 for adults (or "audits" according to the poster in the elevator) and ¥500 for children.
Very powerful shower and bidet toilet in the bathroom, air conditioning in the room which also dehumidifies the room, smart TV in the room with Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and various other streaming services for when Japanese TV gets a bit too much (not in a bad way, but there was only 5 or 6 channels that were viewable).
There's a vending machine right in front of the hotel, with quite possibly the cheapest drinks in all of Tokyo, even cheaper than in kombinis.
You do need to request for your room to be cleaned each day.
Great view of Tokyo Skytree on the 7th floor.
Overall, very good value for money.
This was the 1st hotel we stayed in Japan. Looking was it was probably the best, only one with smart tv. Bathroom a little tight even for Japanese standards. Overall great and would recommend if you cannot find anything nearer a subway station in Asakusa.
