“Painted Quail is absolutely a five star. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is amazing, the view is spectacular and the finger lakes are a must see! Our weather was gorgeous and we had an absolutely wonderful 31st wedding anniversary. Will definitely be returning in the spring. ”

“This spot was so cute, the owner was very kind and responsive. The location was close to all the activities that we had planned. The only minor complaint is that we were not able to take showers here. We luckily had family friends close by that we took showers at their home. The water in the cottage was very foul smelling. Possibly the well needed to be cleaned or treated. That was the only complaint. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay especially the lake view and fire pit.”

“The house was the perfect location. We were directly half way between Hammondsport and Penn Yan. We had great views of the lake and were close to tons of great wineries! My toddler had a fun time playing in the large yard and at the lake’s edge. Loved our stay!”
