“Clean, cozy and nicely appointed efficiency apartment in the heart of Hammondsport. It was nice to walk to the lake, eateries and shops. We had no trouble finding on street parking. Lots to do in the area, antiquing, wineries, breweries, good restaurants and ice cream. We recommend the Hideaway!”

“Our room above the barn was perfect, clean, comfy, and included everything we needed for our four-night stay. It has a large window with a view East where I sat with my wife and a cup of coffee and watched the sun rise. Barb and Barb was always available if needed and very helpful in answering our tourist questions. Our stay included visiting Corning, Watkins Glenn, and the Cornell botanic gardens. “The rental was very clean and had everything we needed for a week. It was close to parks, wineries and many waterfalls. We so enjoyed our stay! Would definitely come back again. ”

“The apartment worked well for me. There is parking for one vehicle, and that fitted my full size pickup truck without any issues. Check in was easy, and there were no issues with my stay. ”

“We thought the property was very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, great location to Watkins Glen and plenty of wineries nearby. The firepit was a great plus with plenty of wood. Plenty of space to park and it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again! Would suggest a few more washcloths and towels. ”

“Chris’ spot was adorable and perfectly decorated to the Jetsons theme! From the Bazooka Bubblegum and Atomic Fireball candy assortment to the nostalgic LiteBrite and the astronaut projecting stars on the bedroom ceiling, each detail was on point. We were welcomed with a bag of fresh muffins from the local bakery and a bottle of cider which was also a nice surprise! We also loved the bathroom heat lamp and may invest in one ourselves now.Location of the house is perfect for what we wanted to do -……
