Our go-to hotel when we come to New York City. Spacious rooms, well-appointed, plenty of closet space, deep soaking tubs, bathrobes. Food is quite good. Rooftop bar is a plus, particularly if one needs a comfortable place to hang out while waiting for one's room to be ready.

No coffee in the room at all and the breakfast selection is very poor, probably better to go out for breakfast and not pay for it at the hotel. I didn't find the staff very friendly on arrival at all, in fact when I told her I couldn't hear well as I was partially deaf she seemed even ruder!
