"Staff was very welcoming and accommodated every request we had from fixing our ac to more coffee and towels. Room was a little small but we expected that in London. No dresser so that was surprising but we made it work. Great location! Woukd definitely stay again and highly recommend! "

"We stayed in a city king room. The king bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well and we were able to crack open the windows slightly which was also welcome given the nice cool London air and relatively quite neighborhood of this hotel. Daily housekeeping service was awesome as was the mini fridge and selection of teas and coffees in the room. We had a room with both a bath and a shower. The bathtub was deep and spacious enough for two! Awesome place to stay!!! "

"Excellent trip; Key points; 1. Helpful and pleasant staff across all areas. 2. Lovely comfy, quiet, clean room 3. Free breakfast with our stay with a lovely hot food selection...free drink ticket upon arrival. 4. Close to attractions (5 mins to either TOWER HILL or ALDGATE underground stations) (5 mins from TOWER OF LONDON and TOWER BRIDGE. Would recommend to others and reasonable, competitive price (coming from a Yorkshireman) "

"Huge room with 2 queen beds, a/c worked well, in room amenities were nice. On booking I noted we were celebrating our daughter's birthday and were surprised with a birthday card and treat in the room on our first day. They also provided a complimentary bottle of red wine which was a nice touch. The breakfast was great, many options to choose from and eggs made to order. Excellent location. Walkable to Tower of London and tower bridge; tower bridge tube stop is steps from the hotel which was very convenient and made getting around the city a breeze. The hotel pool was nice after a long day. One thing to note about both the shower stall and bathtub is it is a large step in and out which could be challenging if there are mobility issues. Would stay here again."

"Nice place, rooms are dark so could do with better lighting. Very friendly staff. The sofa inside the rooms are kinda itchy on the skin so could do with changing them or providing blankets. Lovely location. Great bathroom. "

"Hotel was very nice, furniture and linens were very clean. Very convenient for visiting city, tower bridge and walkable to other sites/ tube station. Staff was lovely, from reception, to housekeeping and restaurant and bar staff. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We always enjoy staying at the Clayton, very clean very comfortable, the best shower! Mortgage is a great location for exploring the city very well connected we often use it if we’re going to an event at Wembley as it’s a quick journey on the Met line. Staff are great."
