“Good location. Beach views, helpful staff. Just be aware there isn’t a lift and rooms can be up 2 floors. The staff will help you, though.”

“Everything was great about the property itself, especially the location with the walk to the high street and the start of the shops only taking a minute or 2. The only drawback I could find, and I'm nit picking, is the stairs are right at the front door which might be tricky for some people. Parking on busy days/weekends might be tricky.”

“Room was freezing cold, no heating on, kettle didn't work. They did offer to change our room but other room was also unheated. As check in is 2pm.We checked in at 4.40pm 14th Feb, room was icy cold. Hot water was temperamental. Room should have bern warm & water hot, Hubby had cold shower i gave that a miss.should be heated by then”

“The hotel needs a lot of care and attention , cleaning which is a most. other parts need cleaning.I use the GYM when I was there, Equipment's need updated , .Lot of other places are rusted, meaning to old , good clean down.Needs a better fan for bathroom /shower, especially when having to do ANOTHER 2 IN THE toilet. NEEDS MORE STRONGER SUCTIONS. WINDOWS NEED CLEANING PLENTY COBWEBS IN EVERY AREAS. Rubbish even outside the areas need to be emptied daily, Areas where you are aloud to smoke……

“I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place ”

“Beautiful clean room (Room 4) with lovely comfy beds, additional things such as blankets, soap, shampoo etc and very attentive staff ( actually the owners ). High quality tea and coffee plus biscuits in the room and to top it all an excellent breakfast the next day. Thank you for a wonderful stay in this delightful boutique bead and breakfast close to all amenities. ”

“I’m so pleased we chose this place for our weekend away. We were greeted by Sandra, who was incredibly warm and welcoming, and she showed us to our room, which was spotless and a great size for two people. We were given our own keys, so we could come and go whenever we liked. The guest house had a lovely, homely feel and was peaceful throughout our stay, making it the perfect place to relax. The location is excellent too—just a 10–15 minute riverside walk into the city centre, making it ideal……

“When we arrived to check in the room was not ready. Turns out they were not even aware of our booking until we showed it to them. We then had to wait two hours whilst the owner came to the property to get the room ready. Waiting outside in the side proved to be a disaster as their outdoor table and chair was covered in a black bitumen type substance that got all over the bottom of my trousers and completely ruined them. When we did get into the room the large curved screen TV proved to be……

“There is no elevator, the stairs are narrow, and it is inconenient to luggage upstairs, but the waiters are very friendly.”

“Friendly and polite staff. Hotel located in town center with lots of shops and a variety of restaurants nearby. The on-site car park is first-come-first serve and becomes full early. Be prepared to park in off-site paid car park if you drive.”
