「Great hotel with nice and helpful staff right on the beach. Our room with a balcony facing the beach was amazing to chill out in and listening to the waves at night. You got some dining and shopping options close by but we preferred heading to Tulum town on most nights - more authentic with excellent food at much lower prices. 「El lugar es bonito con cabañitas amplias y comodas . Para mi gusto faltaria un calentador de agua y quizas una cafetera para no tener que molestar en recepcion. Los alrededores son tranquilos teniendo en cuenta que el hotel esta en la zona hotelera de Tulum, lo cual significa que en menos de cinco minutos te encuentras en plena zona de restaurantes, bares y clubs. Un plus es el cenote desde donde puedes tomar el sol y bañarte tranquilamente.」

「The staff are really nice and accommodating . Especially Theresa . She’s sweet and anticipates our needs. The place has no amenities but you have access to Ahau which is the sister hotel . But I like the atmosphere here in Ganesh - the location is perfect, if you don’t want the hustle and bustle of typical resort this is a good place for you . The beach is nice and the only downside is it’s on the strip of clubs that can be loud at night but they stop playing at 1 am. Somehow all of us slept ...

「What I especially enjoyed was the hotel’s design: my beautiful modern spacious room, the attractive spacious dining area with a gorgeous view to the sea. The hotel staff was excellent. I really appreciated as a solo traveler the hotel and hotel staff making sure I took full advantage of the nightlife options. There were some issues inside the room that were eventually fixed. Not a big deal. Thanks to everyone from Umi for making me feel welcome and for the beautiful atmophere.」

It’s different than your typical vacation spot. By the time we left the staff and other guests felt like friends and family. And there are cats!! 」

「Rooms were great. Wonderful view of ocean. Staff was A+ from the second we walked in they helped us with everything. They remembered our names, how we liked our food cooked etc. The location to the things that we like on Tulum Beach was ideal. There is a small convenience store right across the street which made it so convenient to grab snacks and water if needed when the restaurant was closed. Will definitely return. 」
