Try to make reservations for the restaurant when first day I came. And find all the restaurants in hotel are not available except the buffet. and for the rest 4 days of my stay, i can only ate buffet, which is so bad. They also make a mistake on the room.i came with my friend, we booked a 2 beds room, but there is only 1 king size bed room left. Was Told that was the last room they have. So we have to sleep on one bed.

We had a view of the next door resort to our front. To the left, the ocean, to the right, golf course and lagoon! It wasn’t too bad! Food was mostly decent. Comfy beds & pillows. Did not like the fact the you only get so many nights for dinner reservations based on the length of your stay…. And I absolutely hate the towel/towel card program. But all in all it was a decent stay.

Our stay was overall excellent. The property was clean and the staff were very responsive. The only flaws that we found were that our toilet did not work too well as the lever was broken and required us to fix it a couple times. The part we absolutely did not like was one of the time share salesmen who made us feel uncomfortable; he wanted us to visit a neighboring property and pushed us to commit. Once we changed our mind, you could tell he was mad every time we walked by him making our trip uncomfortable when running into him.

We had a panoramic room on the top floor. View of the ocean was superb and then had a view of the pool. The main pool with the swim up bar was where we spent most of our time. Most chairs were claimed by 7:30am if you wanted sun facing over the weekend. Staff were friendly and the activity staff were energetic bringing a lot of fun activities to the pool. Only con was red flag for the beach/ ocean. I wasn’t swimming and never deeper than waist but got whistled in by lifeguard. Much later in the day I was out again still in relatively shallow water unless hit by a bigger wave. Had to give room number to hotel manager for some reason after being waved in. That got to me when I wasn’t even swimming, just enjoying the water and standing in the waves. They were more strict than other areas of the beach.

We had a very pleasant and joyful vacation at GR Solaris. The ocean view was great, and the beach access was excellent. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The only issue was some noise in the hallways, since there’s no carpet in the corridors or rooms, even normal conversations could carry. Other than that, we had a very positive experience overall.

I would like to report negligence during the implementation of my previously booked "Day Trip to Tulum Mayan Ruins on February 25, 2026." As part of the agreed-upon tour, three people were to be picked up from the GR SOLARIS hotel at approximately 7 a.m. The day before, I received information from Robin Sanches at 52 998 195 7170. This was a refusal to pick us up from the hotel, but instead, a pick-up point was assigned to another hotel (Crab House) approximately 5 km away. This meant a one-hour walk through unfamiliar terrain at night. Our booking details include the following note under "Inclusions": "Return transport to and from your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel included." In response to my request to comply with the terms of the agreement, we received an explanation that we had not paid for this service and that this was Expedia.ca's policy. As a result, my wife cancelled the dangerous and disruptive trip in the middle of the night. My son and I arrived at the designated point on time. After about an extra hour, the delayed shuttle arrived, and it turned out it had passed our hotel, the GR Solaris, on its way to the pick-up location (!). In this situation, we expect a refund for Terese Raubic, who was prevented from participating in the tour by an unjustified change to the contract terms.

First time at am all inclusive resort and excited to do it again . The Gr Solaris was very clean and food wasn’t bad . The only bad experience was the pools closed at 6 and hot tub at 7 pm everyday .
