“Unless you can sleep with tractor trailers driving by within 20 feet of you all night, do not stay here. Even with loud white noise and pillows over our heads, we slept a few hours at best. Add to that a terrible mattress, bad pillows, and a missing smoke alarm and this rates as one of the worst places we have ever stayed. Yes it was clean and yes there was hot water but if you are looking for actual sleep, do not stay here.”

“The breakfast was nicer than usual. My only concern with my stay was that one of the elevators was concerning--noises, smells, grinding to a stop. In fact, I saw staff members send it away and push the button again to get the other elevator instead. That's what I did. I was on the 4th floor so was on the elevator several times a day.”

“Loved everything about this place! It was so beautiful and luxurious, but really comfortable and relaxing… not pretentious at all! We had cocktails in the speak easy, which was such a fun surprise! Jeremy was the best mixologist and was full of interesting facts about the history of the property .Then dinner in the restaurant… delicious. Our server, Teddy, was the best. "We stayed at a historic hotel near Pikes Peak, and it truly felt like stepping back in time. The property is full of vintage charm and classic character. While the atmosphere has an old-fashioned feel, everything — from the surroundings and room cleanliness to the attentive service — made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We would happily return again. The nearby Old Town area is unique and full of character, perfect for strolling and exploring. Our favorite spot was Manitou Brewing Company, where we enjoyed a fantastic Bingo night and made some great memories."
