La Quinta Inn & Suites Cullman hotels

"We originally booked this hotel because it was pet-friendly. We ended up not having to bring our pet; however, when we arrived, I was immediately impressed with how clean everything looked and smelled! The staff (Misty and her co-worker on April 27th) were so very kind and pleasant! Our room was cleaned well and looked fresh. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated having control of an AC unit that worked efficiently. The hotel was convenient to restaurants and the interstate. Breakfast the next morning was tasty and very adequate! Hot breakfast items (waffles, eggs and sausage) as well as simple items like toast, cereal, fruit, and oatmeal. I was very impressed overall and super pleased with our experience!"

"The checkin clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean with hardwood and tile floors. No carpet was a definite plus for us. The hotel is a basic hotel for an overnight stop along a road trip. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. "

"I booked and prepaid online. The next day there was a charge on my debit. A person at the desk assured me that it would get to the manager to be fixed. The next day it’s not fixed. I asked another person to fix it. She assures me that it will be fixed. The next day it is not fixed and there is an additional charge added. At this point I get angry and demand answers. The manager takes me to his office, is very nice and handles the issue. He gave me 25,000 points for the ($450) inconvenience. I suppose that was fair. I would have preferred not to have to have $450 of my money in IHG’s hands for four days and the aggravation of continually having to work to get it back, than to have gotten a free room"
