“Staying at Bliss Riad was a delight. From the very beginning when Farooq came and picked me up and helped me with my bags early in the morning, I felt welcomed and was set right at ease. Farouk made sure that all my needs were met all the days that I stayed. He was so gracious with me even when I had to wake up super early to go on a tour and leave my suitcase with him somewhere safe. Zineb, made my breakfast platter each morning, and her smiling face lit up my day. She helped me learn Arabic,……

“On arrival the staff were friendly and welcoming, with mint tea and confectionery while we registered. We were early so they happily looked after our luggage while we went for lunch. On our return we were shown to our superior room. We were somewhat taken aback once inside. The entire room was painted black, the walls and the ceiling, even the bathroom was painted black, walls, ceiling and including the bath. It obviously made it very dark and dingy and it felt very oppressive. Once the lamps……

“Descent place . Not the best choice”

“The hosts were great. We had a little trouble finding the hotel the first time, but it was very close to the medina and away from the noise. Perfect for our stay. We had trouble connecting to the wifi on the first day (it was very weak in our room on the terrace), so the manager moved us downstairs the next day. The breakfast was good. We were not able to try their hamam or other services since the first night we did not get wifi and weren't able to plan well, and the subsequent move to another……
