"The Candlewck is nestled back against a beautiful forest. The room was retro with the basic amenities. We enjoyed the jetted tub. Several restaurants and 2 convenience stores were within walking distance. The only complaint is the mattress and pillows."

"Very clean room! Western decor and even though I've read reviews saying beds were hard, i was very comfortable. Good water pressure in shower and convenient location. Great price and it is on main road. Would have more quiet but we showed up dueing Spring Fling motorcycle rally! Still, heard very litte noise/traffic after like 10:00 or 10:30 pm. "

"Fun stay in historic hotel. Nice having access to the large patio space. Had supper in the 4th floor pizza place, the calzone was big enough for 6! Took the 'ghost tour' and enjoyed the history of the hotel. Did not see any ghosts, but most of the floors and doors were creaky."
