"Room was nice and close to everything. Beware that the roosters do crow in the early hours. I got used to it, but it did startle me the first night. Do not let this deter your stay because the chickens are part of the ambiance."

"We moved to Opal Key after a bad experience with an Airbnb. We were well taken care of from the start - staff explained we could store our luggage at the hotel and use the pool, restaurant, etc until check in. When we arrived we received an upgraded room with view of the pool and were able to go to our room right away. Gorgeous property and the room was superb - well appointed, very comfortable bed, nice amenities! Also had lunch at Latitudes - part of the Opal Collection and a must do! We had an early flight out and staff arranged a taxi for us. The staff made us feel so welcome and completely changed our mindset on our entire stay in Key West! Highly recommend Opal Key and the staff is top notch! "

"We had a splendid stay at the Ibis Resort. The staff were helpful, and knowledgeable. The entertainment of the birds was great. Temp of room was easy to maintain. The breakfast was the best in the Keys where we stayed. I rented a scooter which was both fun and easy to kick around town on. everything was convenient to find, and the small private beach area was quiet in the mornings."
