“Lovely base with plenty of nice restaurants close by!”

“I was very pleased with my stay. This hotel has some amazing views of the city. The staff was extremely helpful. I had an issue with my room's a/c upon checking in and they worked to get me moved to a different room quickly. The parking is a bit tight, but manageable. The food at the restaurant was great. The services at the spa are reasonably priced. While it's not necessarily easily to walk into town, you can get a quick Bolt ride into city center.”

“The view was spot on. Breakfast wasn’t worth it.”

“Older hotel but in a great location in Funchal. Walkable area, shopping mall with grocery store within 2 minutes walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooftop pool was well maintained although we didn’t have time to use it, the rooftop views were great. The breakfast buffet was good, although repetitive as all hotel breakfasts are. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Madeira.”

“An amazing place to stay at.”

“Excellent stay!!! Loved everything about it. The parking was a bit of an issue, but overall, great hotel.”

“Really nice hotel, with a good vibe to it, really well located. Staff mostly really nice and helpful. Had a issue with ants all over the bathroom, and while I understand it's hard to keep insects out the number of them seems like a issue that needs to be fixed... Reported it to reception and they arranged for a deep clean, but they still came back, needed some ant killer or repellent down. View from the balcony was great, but it was spoilt by the main room in from of the hotel (but that is……

“Parking is paid 9euros per day and in the same building Breakfast is not good, its expensive and you have better options at 5min walk”
