“Very lovely apartment. Host was very responsive and communicative.”

“Only a block from the Seine! The small room was clean although the carpet under the bed was fairly dingy. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. It was a hot July week in Paris; no AC but a strong fan was provided. Travellers need to know that the room is 4 floors up a semi-spiral staircase and there is no elevator. Carrying suitcases up and down was awkward, tho' I considered it daily exercise. Unfortunately, my plane got in at 6am and instruction from the host informed that room access……

Location was very good and price was low for Paris. It worked but I would not recommend it.”

“Wonderful apartment in great neighborhood with easy access to metros, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. The owner met us at our arrival and showed us how to use the keys and codes to get in. He gave us an overview of the place and answered questions. He was easy to contact, but once there we had no reason to. The space was exceptionally clean. We didn’t use the kitchen for cooking, mainly for morning coffee and tea, but it is very well equipped. The main area - kitchen, table, desk - has……

“Our stay was the worst of our entire trip, which was 4 weeks long. When I have to ask my wife if she wants me to look for another location within our first hour of arriving, it wasn’t looking good. Therefore, I waited until the end of our trip to enter this review & for fairness I’ll break the review into three parts. Our stay: This was our 4th stop of 11 on our trip and only one without an AC unit that worked properly (portable AC with no ventilation to outside) in which the place booked listed……

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The apartment looks much better in the photos than it does in reality. While I liked the neighborhood and surrounding streets, the entrance to the building is a long, dark hallway that feels neglected and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the digital entry system. After returning from dinner one evening, the digital key stopped working, leaving my family locked outside the building for almost two hours……
