6/10 Okay

"The pictures online are misleading, photos need to be updated because what is online is not what it looks now, looked more like a roadside Motel than a Marina Resort. Walk the whole property first. Can't say much about the extras since weather was bad. Staff was nice though."

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Marathon Florida Keys

"Staff is wonderful. Older property, old funriture in the 2 suites we had. They added $20 per day per suite for parking without telling me We had 1 car between us. They did remove it, Restaurant is closed on Monday. Ice Machine is only on the ground level and 1 machine for the entire building. Gym has treadmills, weights, 1 bench and eliptical. Gym smells like mold. They could usa a new ping pong table, paddle and balls. Buffet brakfast was plentiful and good. Great view from our rooms, nice pools The excellent staff saved our stay by being so efficient and nice. Not worth thr $1200 fror 2 nights, 2 suites."

Isla Bella Beach Resort & Spa

"First time staying at a resort in the Florida Keys. The whole experience was excellent giving May end sees less tourists and resort feels “private” to some extent. It’s definitely expensive given the resort fees and parking fees per night you pay for what you get. The restaurants/bars are Miami pricing and great food/drinks. Like there’s an adult only pool along with other pools. The rooms are very spacious (ours was on 3rd floor diagonal from the beach bar). We spent a whole day sitting on the beach chairs and relaxing by the bar watching the iguanas and dolphins. Would have appreciated if they provided water bottles in the room rather than us going to the water filling stations downstairs everytime to refill our bottles. There’s option to jet ski, take boat rides, etc but was too expensive for us. If you just want to enjoy some downtime away from Miami hustle/bustle sipping tropical drinks and relaxing in the pool, this resort is ideal. Just be ready to pay for the “views” and “vibes” at the resort, don’t expect getting extreme hospitality for the price though."

"Second time we have stayed there. The in room fridge is a little tight, for what we like to use it for. Great location for the first half our trip. Great to have the beach chairs and cooler and umbrella!! Will definitely use that amenity again in the future."

Hampton Inn Marathon - Florida Keys

"I picked the property because the pictures represented it to be on the water with more access to the water and more views of the water. I thought there would be a beach, but there was not. It looked like the Tiki Hut had views of the water but it does not. The room was nice but a little musty smelling. Overall the property is nice, the breakfast was good."

Banana Bay Resort & Marina

"The room was good with comfy beds. We couldn’t get the room to cool down though so it was a bit warmer than we would have liked. The shower sprays everywhere outside the shower stall so we needed towel to mop it up. I ended up with glass in my foot at the pool but the pool was enjoyable other than that. The breakfast was lacking. It was frozen breakfast sandwiches or a prepackaged muffin. I don’t think I would call that a continental breakfast. Probably wouldn’t stay here again."
